Espirito Santo is a state that offers tourists different attractions, in a small distance you can be at a beautiful beach and in less than 50 minutes, be in a region that was colonized by Europeans in a mountainas climate.. In order for the tourists to enjoy to the maximum their stay in Pousada Diamantina, we offer several different tours to the principal attractions in different regions, offering where necessary, specialized equipment and the best of professional qualified assistance.  You will be amazed with what is available!
 

1 - Guarapari

Description

1.1. “Beaches and History”


Panaramic views of the most beautiful beaches in Enseada Azul, Guaibura, Macunã, Bacutia .
Praia Dos Padres and Meaipe.  Recanto de Pescadores,  all are tranquil At the Casa Das Rendeiras you can appreciate and buy beautiful handcrafts made by local people. On the way back you can stop to purchase para ´panelas de barro´ - traditional  clay cookware, which are on display on the roadside.  Following on you can visit the historical attractions ´Casa da Cultura´ - House of Culture, and Antiga Matriz (principal Church) constructed by Padre Anchieta and the ruins of the Church , dated 17C.  The final stop at the Expomar, which is the biggest aquarium in Espirito Santo, with a large variety of different species

 1.2. “Setiba Ecological Sanctuary”


This is a tour through small parks rich in diversity, 1,500 hectacres of beaches, forests, lakes, dunes and swamps.  It has the richest area of protected forests in the state.  Tourists can appreciate the beautiful atmosphere, observing the vegetation and species of native animals.  Swim in the lakes and enjoy what nature has to offer.

 

1.3. “Morro da Pescaria”  “The fishermans hill”

A protected area very close to Pousada Diamantina, which  well deserves a visit.  Acompanied by our guides.  The tour can be completed in 30 minutes, there are magnificent views along this wonderful walk, with stragegic view points with beaches that can be described as ´paradise´ such as Conchas, (shell Raposa (fox) and  Vermelha, (Red).

 1.4. “Parque Aquático Acquamania”  - water park
Located 15 km outside Guarapari, offering various attractions, lazy river ride, swimming pool with waves, pirate ship, water slides, playgrounds and refreshment area.  Fun for all the family!.

 1.5. “Adventure Park”
 Only 5km outside of the city, the local mining business in the region has a canyon 55metres high, surrounded by beautiful scenery.  Several radical sports can be participated in, including canoeing on the lake, absailing down the rapid on the side of the canyon, and ´tirolesa´ where the participants end up dunking in the lake!  Experience is not necessary to attend the park, as an experienced team of instructors, including support are to hand.  Options of simply rexlaxing to enjoy the atmosphere, or to participate and ´ go to the limits

1.6. “Guarapari por Mar”  - Guarapari by the sea.


We offer options of sailing around the islands and inlets in a schooner, with a buffet of tropical fruits..  There are 4 different routes available (weather and tide permitting) : R1- Três Praias, R2- Três Ilhas, R3- Setiba e R4- Pedra da Raposa. Stops for those wanting to bathe.

2 - Vitória / Vila-Velha
Description

2.1. “Historical Tour of the Colonization”

This route follows the same path that Vasco Fernandes Coutinho took when he was colonizing this state. Historical sites are visited both in Vila Velha and and Vitoria dating back to the 16C. the guide will tell you the story chronologically, visiting a fortress, Churches, museums and the famous Convent da Penha

 2.2. “Rota do Sol e Vitória Viva” – Route of the sun Vitoria Live

Via the route Rota do Sol takes you on a panoramic view of the beaches along the coast of Espirito Santo.  Visiting some of the local sights, The Convento de Penha, with its breathtaking views over the city and far beyond, and next to the Chocolate factory – a wonderful experience!  Next is the Railway museum with one of the largest model railways in Brazil.  Finally a city tour taking in the attractions of the States Capital.


 2.3. “Verde de Vitória”  Green Vitoria


On this tour you are going to discover some of the Parks in Vitória – boasting beautiful scenery and spectacular rocky formations. Parque da Pedra da Cebola, has just this with its amazing formations of rocks all through the park. From there you can observe all the elements that make up the geography of the island of Vitoria Parque da Fonte Grande is a natural view point overlooking the city well worth a visit.  The park Horto de Maruípe – contains in its 60,000 square metres, exotic plants.  The gardens and parks certainly contribute to the cities environment.  The amazing bromeliário in the Roberto Kautsky.gardens these are beautiful, simply amazing plants that flower just once in their lifetime but continue to grow with beautiful shapes and shades. The quality of life is greatly enhanced by the parks in Vitoria – Verde Vitoria!.


 

 2.4. “Circuito das Compras”  Shopping circuit.


This tour is for who wants to visit the main shopping places in the region in Vila Velha along with the busy area of clothing and fabrics at ”Glória.”  Visit the chocolate factory “garoto”.In Vitória.  Vila Rubim is the place to find local crafts and just about anything you need and closing the tour with the biggest and complete shopping mall - “shopping Vitória”.


 2.5. “ Vitória By Night” 


The young at heart will love this tour! .It shows places to enjoy drinks listening live music or dance the night away. Let our staff take you the the best of the night life and bring you safely back to the Pousada Diamantina.


3 - Anchieta

3.1. “Caminhos do Padre Anchieta”  The way (or route) of Padre Anchieta


Following this route will take you  along the same path that Padre Anchieta, the Catholic Priest took.  You will visit the place where he lived for the last years of his life, and see the Church he had built in the 17C.  The Museum of Religious art is to be found on this site and the story of his life is also portrayed here.  Panoramic views of this region, some of which are untouched such as the beach Ubú, Castelhanos and Iriri.


4 - Serras Capixabas Hills and mountains in Espírito Santo

 4.1. “Montanhas de Domingos Martins” Mountains of Domingos Martins


Going up the mountains to an altitude of 542 metres above sea level boasts  one of the best climates in the world.  Here you can see rare species of plants and enjoy the wines and liquers from the family. Adega Schwambach.  The largest soft drinks factory in the state is also here – Coroa Beatiful viewpoints can be found at Restaurante Vista Linda, where the clock powered by water can be seen along with what must surely be the smallest theatre in the world!

4.2. “Pedra Azul e Rota do Agroturismo” The Blue Rock and plantations


Travelling through the mountains this route will certainly provide fabulous scenery ES, o Parque Estadual de Pedra Azul, is situated 1, 822 metres above sea level. This photographic safari will take in a small climb  and will take you to the top of the Lizards Rock known as Pedra do Lagarto. Following on a visit to the plantation farms where produce can be purchased - including fresh fruits and home made produce.

4.3. “Adrenalina nas Montanhas”  Adrenalin in the Mountains


This route is truly radical. With the rapids coming down from the River Jucu  “Rio Jucu” in a inflatable boat or absailing down rocks by the waterfall – this trip is for those wanting a taste of adventure in beautiful surroundings.
